“They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.” (Acts 1:14, NIV)
ImpACTS 1:14 is a new series of prayer gatherings central to the spiritual life of St. Andrew's. Each meeting allows in-person and remote attendance via Zoom, maximizing both convenience of participation and the power of face-to-face contact for those who are able to gather on campus.
ImpACTS 1:14 takes its name from: 1) St. Andrew’s Vision of being A Neighborhood Church with Global Impact, 2) Acts 1:14 - the program's theme verse; and 3) the goal for engagement: every member of the St. Andrew’s community is invited to participate weekly in one of the fourteen sessions we ultimately plan to hold every week.
ImpACTS1:14 meetings begin on Tuesday, June 1. Initially, we will hold four meetings per week. The schedule is expected to grow as participants join the initiative until we reach our ultimate goal of fourteen meetings per week, hopefully by this fall.
