Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work. - C.S. Lewis
We believe God desires St. Andrew's to be an adoptive family where children and adolescents are known by the entire church community, where the unique gifts they hold are nurtured and where their passions are cultivated. By partnering with families we aim to help children and students grow into the people God has called them to be. We strive to be models and teach them compassion and service as they grow up in this community.
5:00 p.m. on Saturdays and 9:30 and 11:11 a.m. on Sundays
Our hope is that each weekend our children and young people participate in a welcoming, interactive environment where they encounter God in real ways. After spending some time in worship with the whole church community, we welcome children (1st - 6th grade) to continue in a vibrant, age-appropriate worship setting.

We operate on the belief that God entrusts His church with handing down faith from one generation to the next. He equips people of all ages to participate in the work of spreading Christ's grace and mercy to the world.
Because of this, our family-centered approach offers a lively mid-week program in addition to our weekend worship experience.
Our midweek programs are uniquely developed to help parents and volunteers in their ministry to children and students. We strongly believe that spritual development should begin from the earliest age and parents and other adults are the primary nurturers of faith. Due to this, the resources we use are there to support parents as they try to focus on raising their kids to have a personal relationshp with Christ and caring for their neighbors.
Jesus summarizes the gospel as loving the Lord with all of our hearts, mind, soul and strength, AND loving our neighbors as we love ourselves. To that end, we partner with our Missions team to provide intergenerational mission trips that are accessible to families with small children as well as students. We believe that faith sticks when children see their parents and church family engage in a lifestyle of servant leadership.

Steven Good oversees strategy for our Family Ministries, along with Janice Zorn (Preschool and Tuition programs), Brieana Searcy (Birth - Elementary), Cody Jensen (Students) and a team of dedicated directors (KC Kroger, Jan Harvey, Diane Grams, Jill Brinkerhoff, Stephen Angulo, Tyra Fisher) and volunteers. Together they direct the vision of growing spiritually healthy families at St. Andrew’s.
