WHAT IS SALI?
The St. Andrew’s Leadership Institute is a 9-month living and learning community based in Newport Beach, CA, designed to broaden your understanding of and deepen your connection to God’s redemptive work. The SALI program applies theological education, leadership development, and spiritual formation to the context of work and relationships. As a member of the SALI class, you will join up to eight post-grads from diverse backgrounds who will live alongside and learn from an intergenerational church community.
The SALI Leadership Team and Advisory Board is full of qualified individuals devoted to helping you work, live, and grow in the glory of God. Led by Executive Director Dana Leota, the team has carefully crafted the program we now know as SALI. Learn more about our team by clicking below:
TWO DISTINCT TRACKS
At the St. Andrew’s Leadership Institute, we offer two distinct tracks for the 9-month program. For those who feel God is calling them to work in ministry, we provide the opportunity to work on campus here at St. Andrew's. For those looking to begin a professions career, we offer the opportunity to work in local offices while simultaneously attending the leadership program. Learn more about each below!
Ministry Track
Work part-time at St. Andrew’s and spend one day per week training at the institute.
Gain hands-on ministry experience in one of four departments: Youth & Family, Serve, Congregational Life, Worship.
Receive professional development and mentorship from leaders in the community.
Engage in the life of the church as you lead and serve in ministry roles.
Discern your role as coworker in God’s redemptive work.
Professions Track
Work part-time for an employer in your preferred area of interest and spend one day per week training at the institute.
