CONTINUING THE CONVERSATION
1. When Jesus And his friends landed on the beach, why do you think the crowd came to see him? Who were they looking for?
2. The nameless woman described in this passage came to Jesus looking for one thing: physical healing. But he didn’t stop there. Why not?
3. The sermon defines “narrative” as a story that makes sense of random events and experiences. This woman had a unique story and Jesus, though knowing the story, was resolute, patient, and listened to the telling. Which of these three aspects of his character are you most drawn to and why? What does it mean for you to tell Jesus your story? How could that change you?
