Sunday Study: Generosity—A Mark of Christian Discipleship

When we identify with Christ in his death and open ourselves to his Spirit, fruit appears in our life which is nothing less than Christ’s character being formed in us (see Galatians 5:22-23). This new life is experienced in our relationships where the self-giving, gladness and wholeness of our life in Christ changes us and those around us. Generosity is one of words Paul uses to describe this type of transformational experience. In this Sunday morning bible series, we see that generosity is not an occasional act but a lifestyle of intentional and spontaneous appreciation that leads us into the presence of God, empowers us to be grateful in all circumstances, and generates within us deep emotional joy. Come and join us as Dr. Randy Steele leads us to explore the development of generosity as an act of our spiritual discipleship and experience its influence on our attitudes, spiritual practices, and behavior.
