SACI Jazz Dance (K–3rd)

Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30pm in Deaver
January 28–April 29, showcase May 3rd
No classes Feb. 17–19 and April 7–9

Jazz Dance introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of technical dance in a fun and age-appropriate way. Students will focus on beginning dance technique, pirouettes, turns, leaps, body alignment, and flexibility, all while moving to energetic music that inspires rhythm and helps build coordination.

Through learning dance combinations and choreography, dancers build discipline, focus, memory skills, performance qualities, collaboration, and self-confidence. Dancers enrolled in this class will have the opportunity to perform in our SACI showcase as well as church and community events!
