2024 Women’s Retreat “When Women Build the Kingdom”

Join us as we retreat to Forest Home (“one mile closer to heaven”), which was founded by Dr. Henrietta Mears, a remarkable Christian woman who has impacted thousands of Christians’ lives. We will focus on the reality of God’s Kingdom in our every day lives and discover how we each play an impactful role in the Kingdom. We will inspire, encourage, and learn from one another during this weekend away.

Laura Harbert, Featured Speaker

Laura is a clinical psychiatrist with spiritual growth and discipleship. She has also enjoyed the opportunity to preach, teach, and lead retreats on subjects that integrate psychology and faith. Her doctoral dissertation was on the role of forgiveness in emotional healing. Laura and her husband Mike, have five children and two precious grandchildren. She loves trying to become a gardener, cooking with people she loves, riding her electric bike, and playing the New York Times word puzzles.
