On September 26, 2010, many made the decision to publicly profess their faith for the first time or reaffirm their commitment to the Lord in a special beach baptism.
“St. Andrew’s celebrated our first ever beach baptism service at the Coast Guard Beach in Corona Del Mar on Sunday, September 26th. On a wonderful warm afternoon, five students, one adult and one dad with his two young children all participated in the sacrament of baptism. The service was opened with worshipping our Lord through song. Pastor Rich shared a short devotion will the approximately 40 people gathered to observe and share in this wonderful and special event. Just after the baptism, those who cared to participated in a reaffirmation and a remembrance of their baptism. It was a fabulous afternoon!”
“The beach baptism was a great time of celebration for our church as we came together and welcomed our brothers and sisters into the family of Christ! Coast Guard beach provided the perfect setting for this historic day in the life of our church, and it was a privilege to be able to lead us in worship as we thanked God for the work He has done and continues to do in creating us anew!”
