We believe that following Jesus Christ to lead lives that reveal God’s goodness begins with Biblical teachings in a fun and creative way for elementary children. Please join us each week as we discover God’s goodness and build community where life change happens.
This year’s dedicated offering from Children’s will be going to a St. Andrew's worshipping community, NorthEast of the Well. For more information on NorthEast of the Well, click here.
Every weekend, 3rd-6th graders have the opportunity to participate in our Sanctuary worship by symbolically "bringing in the light" at the beginning of worship and "carrying the light out into the world" at the end of worship. This is a centuries-old tradition in the Christian Church called Acolyte. Children who have signed up and gone through Acolyte training are placed on teams throughout the year.
The children's choirs meet on a weekly basis on Wednesday evenings. The Carol Choir, Kindergarten - Third Grade, is at 5 - 5:45 p.m. and the Chorister Choir, Fourth - Sixth Grade, is at 5 - 6 p.m. All practice begins on September 19. Sign ups begin on August 26. For more information, click here.

Forest Home Family Camp
August 11-16, 2013 | Prices vary depending on number of family members
St. Andrew’s is headed to Forest Home’s Family Camp this summer! For five nights, August 11-16, your entire family gets the chance to reconnect with each other and with God.
A great aspect of Family Camp is the flexibility and range of programs. As children take part in age-graded programs, parents are equipped with tools to grow their kids into great adults (with speaker Jim Burns). Parents and children experience worship, activities and quality time as a family. If you have a student in 5th-12th grade, they are able to attend Family Camp with you, or as another option, during the week of August 11-16, not only are we taking over Family Camp, but kids from Port, Asylum, and Refuge will be attending 5th-6th grade, Jr. High, and High School camps. So really your 5th-12th grader has two options:
1. They can attend Family Camp with siblings and parents where they can enjoy quality family time as well as time with peers, or
2. They can sign up for their age-specific camps at Adventure Mountain, Creekside, and Lakeview.
Unlike youth camps, you will need to sign up directly with Forest Home for Family Camp and spaces are going quickly so be sure to sign up now!

WATCH ministers to the needs of working parents and their families. Parents need quality after-school care for their elementary-age children. The goal is not to duplicate the clubs and athletic activities already available to children but to be a welcoming, homelike place where children will not only be safe, but where they can relax and be assured of their special place in God's world. WATCH provides bus transportation for children from the following elementary schools: Newport Heights, Woodland, Kaiser and Mariners.
