When we Prepare, we receive. We are becoming disciples. Through St. Andrew's Prepare ministries, there are opportunities to grow and connect, no matter your age or stage.
Kick off the advent season by "practicing peace" at St. Andrew's half day retreat in the Chapel. Dr. Bill Dogterom, Professor of Pastoral Ministries and chair of the Religion Department at Vanguard University, will be guiding us through a morning of Scripture meditation, silence, and group discussion. Enter into the season with peace and perspective. For more info contact Kelly Dickson 949.574.2274, .

Becoming a fully-devoted follower of Christ happens in the context of community. Life Groups are gatherings of 4-12 people who commit to meeting on a regular basis to explore what it means to make tangible our calling as followers of Jesus. Through mutual commitment to study, support, prayer and service, we envision these gatherings to be a means by which each member will sharpen, challenge, and encourage each other to lead lives that reveal God’s goodness.

Teaching is an essential component of a Life Study. While a Life Study can (and usually will) have a time of "Life Group" discussion, the Life Study includes time when an instructor (often in a large group) helps you go deeper in your understanding of biblical text.
