The Port: 3rd - 5th

Weekend Worship

Programs are offered for Saturday, 5:30 p.m.; Sunday, 9:30 and 11:11 a.m. worship services. Children sit with their families during the 8:00 a.m. service. Check in at the Children’s table in the plaza. After checking in, all families begin worship together until children are excused to room 216. Your child's classroom for pick up will be given to you at check-in.

We believe that following Jesus Christ to lead lives that reveal God’s goodness begins with Biblical teachings in a fun and creative way for elementary children.  Please join us each week as we discover God’s goodness and build community where life change happens.

Worship Participation

Every weekend, 3rd-5th graders have the opportunity to participate in our Sanctuary worship by symbolically "bringing in the light" at the beginning of worship and "carrying the light out into the world" at the end of worship. This is a centuries-old tradition in the Christian Church called Acolyte. Children who have signed up and gone through Acolyte training are placed on teams throughout the year.

Children's Choirs

The children's choirs meet on a weekly basis on Wednesday evenings starting on September 14 in the Chapel. The Carol Choir, Kindergarten - Second Grade, is at 4:30 - 5:15 p.m. and the Chorister Choir, Third- Sixth Grade, is at 5:15 - 6:00 p.m. (Those who are going into Jr. High are still welcome to join the Chorister Choir!) For more info, contact the music office, 949.574.2251.
