The "Need to Knows"
Welcome to St. Andrew's! We are so glad you're on our website, and we hope to meet you soon. Below are some "Need to Knows" that should answer some immediate questions you might have. Feel free to browse around the rest of the website to learn more about us!
How is St. Andrew's different than other churches?
St. Andrew's has been located in the heart of the Newport Beach community for nearly 70 years, between Newport Harbor High School and Ensign Middle School. One of the distinct things about our church is that we're an all-generations community. There's a place for you here, and we look forward to seeing you soon. Click Here to learn more about us (Mission, Vision, Values). Our church campus is located at 600 St Andrews Rd, Newport Beach, CA 92663 (Get Directions).
What can I expect on the weekends?
We have four worship services between Saturdays and Sundays. Two are Modern in style (live band, relaxed clothing, etc.), and two are Classic in style (choir, hymns, organ, orchestra, Sunday best). If you'd like to check out some of our latest sermons, Click Here.
Modern Service Times: Saturdays 5:30 p.m., Sundays 11:11 a.m.
Classic Service Times: Sundays 8:00 and 9:30 a.m.
What do you have for my kids?
The Family Ministry and Tuitions teams at St. Andrew’s take great care in providing the highest quality programming and ministry for children of all ages. We strive to create environments that are both safe and celebratory of the child’s age and stage of life. Our teachers and staff undergo background checks and regular training and equipping to ensure that the very best care is being provided for the children at all times. We love what we do and the children we get to work with!
For weekend worship, nursery care is provided for children birth - 2 years of age at all of our worship services. Age-specific programming for older children (2 years and up) is available at the Saturday night service and at the 9:30 and 11:11 a.m. services on Sunday mornings. Children ages 2 through fifth grade enjoy music, story time, teaching, play and small group discussion (where age-appropriate). Junior high students have a time of worship, breakfast snacks, and Bible study while the high school and college students worship together with the rest of the congregation at the 11:11 a.m. worship services on Sunday mornings. For more information on all of our programming for certain ages, please click the links below.
We also have a Preschool program which 2, 3 and Pre-K 5 day classes, and a 5 day Jr. Kindergarten class. Our other tuition programs include the WATCH After School Program, Parent Child, and Wonderful Weekdays Summer Camp.
How do I get involved?
There are many ways to get involved. Here are four of them:
1) Come to a worship service on the weekend.
2) Look into joining a Life Group, and get to know some great people.
3) Come to Wednesday Night Together, and enjoy a meal with the church family.
4) Find a Serve opportunity, Here, Near or Far.
