Uganda Missions Trip with Dennis and Trevecca Okholm,
July 5 - 23, 2010.
WHAT WE WILL BE DOING: We'll be working with Ben Tumuheirwe and the ministry of JUNA AMAGARA www.amagara.org - this is a highly organized and effective ministry to various age groups in the nation of
Ben has asked us to teach the children; speak at various churches; teach in ESL programs for adults; lead women's Bible studies and work with medical clinics; Ben also needs media and sound techs to help with setting up systems for their various ministries. In addition Ben asks that our team bring along used laptops in working order than can be left for their ministry.
WHO IS GOING? Laura Johnson (from mission's dept); Dennis and
COST? It will cost approximately $1800 - $2000 for travel there and back plus 'on the ground' costs while in
* if you are not available to be there the full 3 weeks - there is an option of arriving later or leaving earlier to make it a 1 or 2 week commitment; however, we would need to coordinate dates for that possibility due to airport transfers.
