"Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; Let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us praise Him with music and song." - Psalm 95:1,2
As we begin a "new season" in the life and history of our church, we invite you and members of your family "team" to become a part of the largest intergenerational team at St. Andrew's - our music and worship ministry family. Within our music and worship ministry you will find opportunities to serve, worship, sing, play, and grow for people of all ages and experiences. The word of God commands us as believers to make our daily and weekly worship a personal priority in our lives. Jesus Christ has saved and redeemed us to praise Him, and has firmly set us on the Rock of our salvation (Ps. 40:2). With thanksgiving and grateful hearts, we have the privilege of singing to Him our new song because of all He has done for us. The Lord has created us to worship Him in proclamation and action, in singing and serving, in declaration and dedication - and in spirit and in truth.
Opportunities abound for you, your family members, and friends to participate in proclaiming your grateful song by joining an instrumental ensemble with other strings, brass, percussion, wind instruments, handbells, or choir chimes - or "coming before His sacred presence with a grateful song of love" by becoming a team member of our Sanctuary Choir, a contemporary worship team, an adult or youth vocal ensemble, or joining one of our exciting and educationally-oriented children's choirs. I invite you to discover your place on our worship and music ministry team! As we join with the church past, present, and future may we as His worshippers acknowledge, demonstrate, and proclaim that God and He alone is worthy of our praise and our grateful song of love!
Blessings,
Dr. James L. Melton, Minister of Music and Worship

Direct from our 001 storage rooms came a set of choir robes long since forgotten by St. Andrew’s. But, as God’s timing would have it, there was a need for robes in Africa and we were able to bless several churches by donating our old robes for a new life of usefulness and musical performance
Thanks to Judy Howard, our receptionist, her nephew saw the need for robes on his first musical mission trip to Africa and asked if we knew anyone with robes they could donate to the churches. With the cooperation of our staff and a little digging through storage, we were able to meet the need
Thank you Jeff Allen for seeing a need and helping the Body of Christ share the resources He has provided to us.
