After School Program

W.A.T.C.H. is open until 6:00 p.m., Monday - Friday and most school holidays/conference days.

W.A.T.C.H. ministers to the needs of working parents and their families. Parents need quality after-school care for their elementary-age children. The goal is not to duplicate the clubs and athletic activities already available to children but to be a welcoming, homelike place where children will not only be safe, but where they can relax and be assured of their special place in God's world. W.A.T.C.H. provides bus transportation for children from the following elementary schools: Newport Heights, Woodland, Kaiser and Mariners. For more info, contact Janice Zorn, 949.574.2234 or . Or contact Pam Gargan, 949.574.2281 or .

4th Grade Family Milestone

Week 2: Again, we will discover answers to questions such as: What is the big deal about communion? Why is communion sometimes called ‘Eucharist’ or ‘The Lord’s Supper’? How is communion done in other church traditions?  How is communion done at our church?

Childcare is available for younger siblings by request only. Contact Brieana at 949.574.2220 or to RSVP.

PFA (5th grade Milestone)

As children approach the age of adolescence, St. Andrew's comes alongside parents and kids to help explore changes kids will be facing physically, as well as emotionally. This 6-week series for kids along with their parent(s), facilitates open communication for many years to come. Mandatory parent orientation and pre-registration is required. This class is held only once a year, beginning in September. Contact Brieana Searcy, 949.574.2220 or

Worship Participation (3rd-6th grade)

Every weekend, 3rd-6th graders have the opportunity to participate in our Sanctuary worship by symbolically "bringing in the light" at the beginning of worship and "carrying the light out into the world" at the end of worship. This is a centuries-old tradition in the Christian church called "ACOLYTE." Children who have signed up and gone through Acolyte training are placed on teams throughout the year.
